I work as a personal trainer at a Ghent fitness center. In addition, I strive to remain informed on fascinating evolutions, research, and innovations that might help boost your personal training program.
After a difficult period in my life, I started weightlifting in December 2019. A real outlet. It helped me let go of certain fears and, most importantly, helped me overcome my negative self-image (I weighed 59kg - 182cm). I felt I needed extra guidance and contacted a personal trainer for advice and coaching. That changed my life and was the start of this story. My weight gradually increased, I reoriented my studies, chose to take the full-time course 'Personal trainer & fitness instructor' at Syntra and eventually became a coach. Meanwhile, I have also attended and completed the 'Menno Henselmans PT Course' and, needless to say, I intend to keep on educating myself. My PAIN turned into PASSION.
Sport, particularly soccer, has been a hobby of mine throughout my childhood. Since December 2019, I've been focusing solely on weightlifting.
This depends on what option you decide to go for. If you like training on machines or in a gym-like environment then I suggest becoming a 'Fitness Guru'. If you would like the personal training session to occur at your place or in a public space such as a park - then I recommend becoming a 'Health Expert'.
